Frequently Asked Questions
How do your products winter? All of our products are made to withstand Canadian winters but if you want to extend the life of your piece consider covering it or bring it in doors. It is very important to drain your bird bath bowls and leave them tipped over to prevent water from pooling in them before the temperature drops. Water left in the bowl can cause pressure cracks. For best results consider bringing your bird bath in doors. It is also important to drain your fountain before the temperature drops in the fall. Once again pressure cracks can form in the bowls. An excellent option would be to purchase a fountain cover which is available at your local hardware store.
Do your products need to be sealed or treated? No, they do not need to be sealed or treated. Our products are painted for aesthetic purposes or to highlight details. All products can be painted, washed or stained to our customer’s specifications. To extend the life of painted pieces, cover or bring them in doors during the winter months.
